Football Recap: Pierce City Comes Up Short

Pierce City was the 22-14 winner over Stockton/Sheldon when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles came up short against Stockton/Sheldon on Thursday, falling 51-27. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pierce City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Stockton/Sheldon, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Pierce City will venture away from home to face off against Ash Grove at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Stockton/Sheldon, they will head out to square off against El Dorado Springs at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
