Football Game Preview: Lancaster Catholic Crusaders vs. Hamburg Hawks

The Lancaster Catholic Crusaders will head out on the road to square off against the Hamburg Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lancaster Catholic has given up an average of 26.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lancaster Catholic managed to slip by Berks Catholic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders took a blow against the Saints on Friday, falling 35-6. The Crusaders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, Hamburg won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Kutztown 21-20.

Hamburg's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Lancaster Catholic, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Lancaster Catholic ended up a good deal behind Hamburg when the teams last played back in September of 2024, losing 28-13. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
