After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Munford, Briarcrest Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bartlett Panthers, sneaking past 4-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Saints as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Ellen Adair spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Briarcrest Christian's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Regina McIntosh, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave McIntosh a new career-high. Hadleigh Kimbrough also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
