Hot Springs scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 88-72 to the Stillwater Christian Cougars. The Savage Heat just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Stillwater Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Buzzard, who went 9 for 17 on his way to 19 points and seven assists. Buzzard continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Elijah Linn was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

Hot Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Stillwater Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hot Springs will welcome Alberton at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Stillwater Christian has already played their next contest (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
