St. Benedict at Auburndale entered their tilt with Tipton-Rosemark Academy on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 25-23.

Abby Sones was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 assists and six digs. Cadence Orban also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
