Soccer Recap: Sullivan East Comes Up Short

Sullivan East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the David Crockett Pioneers, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Sullivan East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while David Crockett are ranked 72nd).

Sullivan East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for David Crockett, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-2.

Coming up, Sullivan East is taking a road trip to square off against Volunteer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Volunteer will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Sullivan East surely won't give up without a fight. As for David Crockett, they will face off against Elizabethton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
