Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Ella VanAlstyne stepped things up a notch to give Woodland Regional the 'W'. VanAlstyne wasn't messing around, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. The pitching appearance was her eighth straight with one or fewer earned runs.
