North Putnam won the last time they faced Monrovia and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Kaden Helderman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits.
