Basketball Recap: Bremen Extends Home Winning Streak to 11

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bremen ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 victory over the NorthWood Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bremen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kila Foster, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 17 points and six boards. Eliana Grubbs was another key player, putting up 14 points and three blocks.

When it comes to explaining why NorthWood lost, don't look at Claire Payne. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. Payne is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ella Branham, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
