Volleyball Recap: Northside Beats Oak Grove for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Northside waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Oak Grove Tigers by a score of 2-0. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Northside was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12.

Northside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyndall Bennett, who had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Bennett has posted since back in October of 2024.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Oak Grove, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Northside will take on University Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Grove, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Addison on the 20th.
