Canisius got themselves on the board against Bishop Timon-St. Jude on Wednesday, but Bishop Timon-St. Jude never followed suit. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Tigers. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The result came thanks to Josh Kandefer's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up 14 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nick Scime, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

The win made it two in a row for Canisius and bumps their season record up to 2-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Bishop Timon-St. Jude, they moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Canisius will face off against Clarence at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Timon-St. Jude will be paying especially close attention to the Crusaders' matchup: after the Crusaders face off against the Red Devils, they'll take on Bishop Timon-St. Jude again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
