Volleyball Recap: Case Now 12-1 over Last 13 Games

Case's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the New Bedford Whalers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-7, 25-17.

Case was led to victory by Ayla McGlynn and Madyson Silva. McGlynn had six digs and four aces, while Silva had 17 assists and six digs. Silva is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 44 games she's played dating back to last season.

They weren't the only good servers: Case was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 21 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Case has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for New Bedford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

As of now, neither Case nor the Whalers have any future games scheduled.
