Volleyball Recap: Porter-Gaud Takes a Loss

Porter-Gaud and Palmetto Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Porter-Gaud had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Palmetto Christian Academy. The Cyclones were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Palmetto Christian Academy earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Porter-Gaud has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-19 record this season. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-8-2.

Porter-Gaud has already played their next match (against Northwood Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Wilson Hall on the 25th.
