Football Recap: Cambridge/Salem Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Cambridge/Salem extended their road winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Jackson Rowland. Cambridge/Salem really took it to the Hudson Falls Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-7 win for which the team can thank Rowland, who rushed for 109 yards and two scores. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Cambridge/Salem, adding 17 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kolin Rowland, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Cambridge/Salem's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hudson Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cambridge/Salem will face off against rival Voorheesville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hudson Falls is set to take on their familiar foe Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
