Recap: Tri County Northeast Wolfpack vs. Crofton Warriors

If The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack were riding high off their 50-14 takedown of the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Tri County Northeast had to suffer through a rough 60-8 loss at the hands of Crofton. Tri County Northeast was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-0.

Ben Jorgensen threw for 55 yards while completing 77.8% of his passes. On the ground, Brayden McCorkindale rushed for 67 yards.

Will Steffen was the offensive standout of the match as he threw for 97 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Robbie Fisher also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Tri County Northeast's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 5-4. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 7.3 points per game. As for Crofton, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Tri County Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Crofton will be playing at home against Bridgeport at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Bridgeport is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
