Middletown put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Bermudian Springs Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Blue Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

While Middletown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Bermudian Springs saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lily Hahn had 23 digs and three assists.

Middletown's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Bermudian Springs, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of away wins and brought them to 18-3.

Coming up, Middletown will square off against York Suburban at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bermudian Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
