Basketball Recap: Horizon Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Trinity Classical

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Horizon Christian Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Trinity Classical 59-20. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 36 points or more this season.

Horizon Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Nyla Black, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 steals. The contest was Black's 15th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darby Graham, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 14 points and four steals.

The victory got Horizon Christian Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Trinity Classical, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Horizon Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Fideles Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity Classical, they will host Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
