Soccer Recap: Georgetown Day Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Georgetown Day and Washington International squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Georgetown Day had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. Georgetown Day were not able to make up for their loss to Washington International from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

Georgetown Day's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4-3. As for Washington International, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Georgetown Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington International, they will challenge DC International at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.
