There's no place like home for Hillsboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Chillicothe Cavaliers an 18-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Camryn Spruell was a major factor no matter where she played. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Chillicothe, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 12-3.
