Basketball Recap: Fairless Comes Up Short

Fairless was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were dealt a 70-40 loss at the hands of the Orrville Red Riders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Riders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-36 back in January.

Fairless' record is now 4-18. As for Orrville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairless will face off against Coshocton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orrville, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Triway at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Triway will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Orrville surely won't give up without a fight.
