Football Recap: Yazoo County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Yazoo County challenged Edwards on Friday. The Panthers fell 21-15 to the Tigers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Although Yazoo County took the loss, they still got scores from Camden Nichols and Dakwon Reasor.

This is the second loss in a row for Yazoo County and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Edwards, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Yazoo County is taking a road trip to take on Noxubee County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edwards, they will take on Choctaw County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
