Volleyball Recap: Brenna Walsh and Avalon Legg Secure Win for Corona Del Sol + How To Watch

Corona del Sol had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Highland Hawks 3-0 on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Aztecs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Corona del Sol never let Highland on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 27-25, 25-18.

Corona del Sol was led to victory by Avalon Legg and Brenna Walsh. Legg had 15 digs and two assists, while Walsh had 12 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Legg has posted since back in October.

When it comes to explaining why Highland lost, don't look at Camryn Thruston. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and one assist. Thruston is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Corona del Sol's record is now 33-6. As for Highland, they moved to 28-10 with that loss, which also ended their nine-match winning streak.

Corona del Sol has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hamilton on the 13th. Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
