Volleyball Game Preview: Sherando Warriors vs. James Wood Colonels

Sherando hasn't had much luck against James Wood recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Colonels at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Sherando is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Charlottesville.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for James Wood, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Warren County with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Colonels haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant James Wood was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-10, 25-11.

Sherando's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for James Wood, their win bumped their record up to 24-2.
