Triad gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Charleston Trojans with a sharp 56-32 victory. The Knights not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 21st (when they won 45-15).

Charleston's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Triad won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Charleston, they will face off against Bishop McNamara at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
