Basketball Game Preview: Toutle Lake Ducks vs. Morton/White Pass Timberwolves

The Toutle Lake Ducks will head out on the road to square off against the Morton/White Pass Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Toutle Lake will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Toutle Lake blew past Winlock, posting a 61-18 win. The Ducks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Morton/White Pass hadn't done well against Wahkiakum recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Morton/White Pass took down Wahkiakum 51-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Timberwolves.

Morton/White Pass is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Toutle Lake, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Toutle Lake strolled past Morton/White Pass in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 57-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Toutle Lake since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
