Braeden Reifenrath Delivers Best Performance of Season

Cedar Catholic was led to victory by Braeden Reifenrath, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Reifenrath rushed for 102 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023.

The victory (which was Cedar Catholic's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. They and Oakland-Craig are set to duel on Friday.

Battle Creek's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Mettler and Battle Creek will challenge Norfolk Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Aden Pochop Delivers Electric Performance Vs West Point-Beemer

Another Battle Creek player making an appearance on this list is Aden Pochop. He rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns.

On the season, Pochop has averaged 32.1 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had five rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to eight.

Breiton Whitmire's big game helped extend Cedar Catholic's winning streak to six on Friday. Whitmire was dynamite, rushing for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.

For the year, Whitmire has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 101.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had five rushing touchdowns.
