The Hayesville Yellowjackets basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Rosman Tigers to 25 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Cherokee for a Big Smoky 1A/2A outing on Wednesday, February 4. Hayesville will face a Braves squad coming off a 81-39 league win over Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Braves record now stands at 13-5.

The Tigers (1-16) will now prepare for their outing against Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Big Smoky 1A/2A outing with a 13-3 record. In their last outing, Murphy routed Rosman (Rosman, NC), 68-9, in a league game.
