The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host Hough Huskies to 68 in the Sabres non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Sabres now possess a 14-15 record. They play next when they host West Charlotte for a non-league game on Saturday, February 28. South Mecklenburg will play a Lions team coming off a 63-43 non-league win over East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Lions record now stands at 20-6.
With the loss, Hough falls to 20-7 on the campaign.
