In Wednesday's league contest, the host West Rowan Falcons basketball team scored a big 64-27 triumph over the Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs.

The Falcons (19-1) will now prepare for their contest against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Hornets go into the South Piedmont 4A/5A game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, Salisbury triumphed over South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 61-40, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs (6-14) will now prepare for their outing against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Trojans enter the South Piedmont 4A/5A outing with a 18-4 record. In their last outing, Northwest Cabarrus routed Concord (Concord, NC), 69-31, in a league outing.
