The Sanderson Spartans lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the host Cary Imps to 2 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Felton Grove for a challenge on Tuesday, April 28. Sanderson will clash with a Galaxy squad coming off a 19-9 league loss to Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Galaxy record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Cary falls to 3-15 on the year. The Imps host Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Crusaders in a Conference 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 28. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Cardinal Gibbons lost 14-6 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA)
