Fans at Thursday's league test between the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) and the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), witnessed Topsail's lacrosse squad top West Brunswick by a count of 17-5.

The Pirates (13-0) will now prepare for their test against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Charlotte Catholic was overwhelmed by West Forsyth (Cumming, GA), 16-6, in a non-league test.

Next, the Trojans battle the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Tuesday, April 29. West Brunswick will attempt to move on its 2-13 season record.
