With the win, Hoggard improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Vikings host Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to encounter the Rams in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 9-1. Cleveland won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC)

The Pirates now own a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A battle on Tuesday, September 10. Topsail will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.
