In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Lincoln East Spartans softball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Omaha South Packers.
The Spartans (19-13) will now prepare for their match against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs go into the non-league game with a 24-9 record. In their last game, Papillion-LaVista was routed by Millard West (Omaha, NE), 7-1, in a league game.
