In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Dorchester Longhorns volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Parkview Christian Patriots.

The Longhorns (10-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE). The Eagles enter the D1 District 7 challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Bruning-Davenport/Shickley was beaten by Auburn (Auburn, NE), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots face the College View Academy Eagles (Lincoln, NE) in a D2 District 2 test, on Tuesday, October 14. Parkview Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 13-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Boys Town (Boys Town, NE).
