Kaylee Ross Game Report: @ Sonoma Valley

Kaylee Ross, Piner's leading rebounder, solidified her role on Tuesday. Ross wasn't messing around, putting up two points in addition to ten boards and four blocks. The contest was her third straight with eight or more boards. She is becoming a predictor of Piner's success: when she posts at least eight rebounds the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when she doesn't).

Ross and Piner will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Novato at 6:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Piner will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 287 places lower in California), but they're not letting that get them down.
