Parkwood moved up to 157 from 183 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A Conference 9. The Rebels climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Jordan-Matthews 40-20.
Parkwood took down the Jets 40-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Grey Wyrick threw for 26 yards and ran for 28 yards during the win.
Lynn Coble's team's dynamic duo of Wyrick and Max Robinson proved to be unstoppable against Jordan-Matthews, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sam Mobley helped Parkwood's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 14 yards.

Chase Bryum was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 107 yards as Monroe defeated Jordan-Matthews. Julius Stradford also contributed to the rushing game with 83 yards on the ground.
Robinson was the best receiver in the league this week as the Rebels beat the Jets. Robinson tallied 3 receptions for 69 yards.
Bryum provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Redhawks fell to Weddington. Bryum's favorite target this week was Jaylan Barbour, who caught 2 passes for 27 yards.
Wyrick put up the best numbers in passing as Parkwood beat Jordan-Matthews.
The Rebels' Wyrick and Mobley have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 2A Conference 9 in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Wyrick has thrown for 531 yards this season, while Mobley has 17 catches for 363 yards. Stradford from Monroe leads the league in rushing with 508 yards.
Parkwood led the league in scoring this week by notching 40 points on the Jets. Wyrick in the win.
