On Friday Billingsley will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to face off against the Notasulga Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m.

The Bears were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kaden Cotton, who rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 114 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another receiver making a difference was Kyle Boice, who picked up 147 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Notasulga). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Ellwood Christian 55-0 on the road. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Blue Devils considering their 12-point performance the match before.
Billingsley's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Notasulga, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.
Billingsley couldn't quite finish off Notasulga in their previous meeting back in October of 2023 and fell 36-34. Can Billingsley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
