Chanute had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They came out on top against the Parsons Vikings by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory back in September.

Chanute easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12.

Chanute's win bumped their record up to 34-1. As for Parsons, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-10.

Coincidentally, Chanute and Parsons will both be playing Pittsburg the next time they take the court. The Blue Comets will host the Dragons on Monday, while the Vikings will head out to face them on the 21st.
