Hoopa Valley fell just short of Del Norte by a score of 55-53. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hoopa Valley in their matchups with Del Norte: they've now lost seven in a row.
Hoopa Valley's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tashee Tracy, who scored 14 points. Tracy scored a full 26.4% of Hoopa Valley's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Maggie Morris, who scored 12 points.
Hoopa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Del Norte, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Hoopa Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Del Norte also has no future games currently scheduled.
