It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coldwater can now relate to. They fell just short of the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains by a score of 20-18 on Friday. The Cavaliers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Coldwater's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Hopewell-Loudon, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-1.
