Boulder City is 9-1 against Sports Leadership & Management since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will welcome the Bulls at 3:30 p.m. Boulder City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Boulder City needed a bit of extra time to put away The Meadows School. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Mustangs. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Steven Uszynski was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Uszynski was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Tate Crine looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Boulder City's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is undefeated (and 9-10 when he doesn't).
Uszynski wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Robinson, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another was Colten Lewis, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Boulder City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in six consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Sports Leadership & Management never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past Sunrise Mountain 14-0. Considering the Bulls have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Alex Garcia was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Tondreau, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
Boulder City pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sports Leadership & Management, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-14.
Both Boulder City and Sports Leadership & Management just can't seem to miss. The Eagles have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Sports Leadership & Management struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Boulder City was able to grind out a solid victory over Sports Leadership & Management in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 7-2. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
