Guardian Angels Central Catholic never let Valentine on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 26-24, 25-12.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic can attribute much of their success to Riley Wegner, who had 14 digs and two aces, and Emma Cohee, who had 28 assists. Cohee has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last 37 times she's played.
Meanwhile, Oakland-Craig beat Nebraska Christian 3-1 on Saturday.
Oakland-Craig had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-11, 25-13, 25-16.
Guardian Angels Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Oakland-Craig, their victory bumped their record up to 28-7.
