Rich Central (Olympia Fields, Ill.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Michael Hoover ran for a touchdown with with 2:00 remaining in the second quarter, bringing the team to victory over
Romeoville (Ill.) 18-14.
The Olympians came into the game allowing 10.9 points per game. Romeoville's 14 points were well below their season average of 24.0 per game.
The loss comes after Romeoville defeated Minooka 34-21 last week. The win was a nice bounce back for Rich Central, which lost to Crete-Monee last week, 27-26. The loss snapped Romeoville's two-game winning streak.
