Telstar is 8-2 against Carrabec since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rebels will host the Cobras at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Telstar turned things around against Temple Academy on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bereans with a sharp 29-14 victory. The Rebels' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cadie Campbell was incredible, going 3-for-5 with five runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma McPherson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Telstar always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Carrabec made easy work of Forest Hills on Wednesday and carried off a 12-2 win.
Jillian Robinson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aiyana Tibbetts, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. She has been hot, having posted at least one triple the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lily Caldwell, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Telstar's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Carrabec, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Telstar has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .462. However, it's not like Carrabec struggles in that department as they've averaged .536. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
