It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Saint Andrew had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 54-20 victory over the Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs. Considering the Scots have won seven games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Saint Andrew's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jack Williams, who threw for 210 yards and three TDs while completing 90% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Williams is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Saint Andrew's leading receiver Dylan Faison was Williams' top target yet again, picking up 127 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one score on the ground.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Saint Andrew's, adding 22 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Wesley Winn, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Despite the loss, Archbishop Carroll still got an impressive performance from William Secola, who rushed for 91 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.
