Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerset). They came out on top against the Crystal City Javelinas by a score of 67-58 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Javelinas: they've now won eight in a row.

Crystal City lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jayden Rousseau, who posted 19 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Mena, who had 21 points and four steals.

Somerset's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Crystal City, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Somerset wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-47 win against Palmview on the 4th. As for Crystal City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-54 victory against Great Hearts Northern Oaks on the 4th.
