Cameron Clem had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 456 yards and eight scores while picking up 18.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 127 rushing yards per game. Michael Brown also helped out as he racked up 144 rushing yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Murphy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 768 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sam Mack, who picked up 134 receiving yards and one TD. Nixon Willis was in the mix as well, providing Community School of Davidson with two touchdowns.
Murphy's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.6 points on average over those games. As for Community School of Davidson, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.
Murphy has already played their next matchup, a 49-40 victory against Corvian Community on the 28th. Community School of Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
