Patrician Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 28-22 W against the South Choctaw Academy Rebels. For the Saints, this counts as revenge for the 38-14 win the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Remington Faile and Ethan Carr. Faile rushed for 176 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.8 yards per carry while Carr rushed for 234 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Faile is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.
Patrician Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 416 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 309 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
