The Kofa Kings won the last time they faced the San Luis Sidewinders, and things went their way on Thursday too. Kofa blew past San Luis, posting a 65-27 victory on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Kofa has managed all season.
Elijah Braveheart was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Calvin Barber, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds.
Kofa's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2. As for San Luis, they bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Kofa will head out on the road to face off against Youngker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Youngker focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday. San Luis will be home for the holidays to greet Antelope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Antelope will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
