The Avon Grove Charter Wolves suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 89-51 defeat at the hands of Tri-State Christian. Avon Grove Charter has struggled against Tri-State Christian recently, as their game on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Avon Grove Charter had strong showings from Xavier London, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds, and Ayub Massaquoi, who scored 11 points.
Avon Grove Charter has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Tri-State Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.
Avon Grove Charter will be playing at home against Tome at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tome focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Wednesday. As for Tri-State Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Fellowship of Christian Athletes at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
